About the Jubilee FDC .....Founded in 1999, and part of "Oprah's Angel Network" the Jubilee Family Development Center is a safe haven that offers programs and services to our community's "at-risk" youth population. The Center's mission is to reach out and support at-risk children and their families through service and skill development of their academics, physical, and social skills. .....Recognizing that each child and family member possesses unique qualities and gifts it is a place where tools are provided, support is given, and helps fills the individual needs to develop their own place in the world. By providing alternatives and a safe haven in which they can develop into self-sufficient, well-educated, and purposeful human beings, Jubilee center helps keep children away from harmful influences found too often in our communities. .....Jubilee Center provides year-round programming and has recently extended their mission to include workforce training through its' new Occupational Outreach center. |
